SAMURAI BUDDHIST MUSEUM

We respect all sects of Buddhism but we follow Samurai Buddhism which is called Fudo Shu in Japan. It is a Kamakura-born Buddhist sect founded by Zenji Nio in the tradition of Kamakura Buddhist sects by Kukai, Shinran and Nichiren who started their own traditions. As "the world's foremost Buddhist expert" (Indian Express) and "a world-renowned authority on Japanese Buddhism (Hitavada), Zenji Nio mastered all aspects of Japanese Buddhism -- but then found them lacking in individual ways. To revive excitement and enthusiasm in Buddhism among the youth and mainstream, Zenji Nio has founded Samurai Buddhism or Fudo Shu that is based on traditional devotional practices to Almighty Fudo Myoo but in a manner that everyone can benefit from -- regardless of sect and not requiring the hierarchy and politics of organized Buddhist sects.
